This limited edition riso-printed book celebrates and shares the research and stories gathered during the Lambeth Wilds project at the museum in 2019. Through this project I worked with Lambeth Young Carers to consider connections between wild plants and being a young carer. The project aimed to celebrate both wild plants and communities that live close to the museum that may be overlooked by wider society.

This book acts as a guide to the artwork; sharing some of the stories and artefacts that informed each wild plant featured in the installation. It reveals and celebrates the process that went into the design and development of the finished artwork; the people and their experiences that were central to its cultivation.

The book is divided into two sections; first a guide through the activities that took place – my research and the community and public workshops. The second section is a collaboratively-compiled guide to the wild plants discovered through the project and featured in the artwork. In addition there are two invited essays, with each author exploring the project from a different root; from ecologist-writer Anna Souter and post-human researcher Annouchka Bailey.
